Saskatchewan's Weather

Saskatchewan has a variation of weather. Having three main climatic zones across the province ranging from the northern part which has cooler snowy areas,and shorter summers, to the more moderate areas in the southwest grassy plains. In July temperatures above 40° C have been recorded and in January much cooler temperatures of below -50° C are possible some years. In the grain belt on June 21 the sun rises before 5 am and sets after 9:30 pm. For the same reason winter days are short. On December 21 sunrise is after 9 am and sunset at 5 pm.
